In this exhibition, Kenor reflects from his personal experience around two universal concepts: time and space.

On the one hand, it has become especially important for him to work in a new studio, Utopia 126, an old modernist factory built in 1905 dedicated to the dyeing and printing of silk. “It is a space where the walls tell me about the passage of time, the transformation that Barcelona is undergoing, survival…” says Kenor, “so, entering this new studio, I have also seen some canvases from a few years ago with a new look, which were asking me for more gestures and impulses, since their story wasn’t finished yet ”. New lines and new layers have taken shape in works like Escape Into and Genesis, turning them into very deep and intense universes, full of shocks and evolutions.

The time of confinement, “long” and unexpected for him, who usually works on the moment, like the here and now of flamenco, is behind the set of sculptures conceived in a way as an electronic music session, which Kenor was listening to in the months of cancelled concerts and closed cinemas, when he had to turn his inspiration into the most intimate and immersive listening, experimenting with music and new ‘recovered’ materials.

Kenor traces rising lines and angles in three-dimensional space inspired by abstract techno, acid and electro. It's a list of abstract, cosmic, and exploring themes: Scanner, Biosphere, Blue Planet Corp, Cosmic Baby, Alien angel, Sun Electric, Ethnic, Cosmosis, Dance to trance, Genetic, Atmos, Total eclipse, Resistance D and more.

TRANCEFORMA opening will take place on Tuesday October 5th, 2021 at Galeria N2, Carrer Enrique Granados 61, Barcelona, with the presence of the artist.
